Our sportshome story...
Our wealth of experience in sports home and motor home conversions is shown in our passion for providing the finest quality Sportshome conversions and motorhomes.
We began our journey many years ago by converting our own van into a sportshome to allow us to travel the UK and Europe with our hobby.
This van was such a hit with other enthusiasts that we were asked to convert one for a friend, once we did one the projects just kept coming until eventually we realised there was an opportunity for us to enter the market and start to build high spec conversions.
So, we went for it, we took some small premises and set about building. We secured two projects initially and that quickly turned into 5, the first 2 years saw us grow pretty quickly. We found more suitable premises and moved into what today is our headquarters.
We now regularly have 3 or 4 projects on the go at any one time and we source brand new vehicles straight from the manufacturer.
All of the cabnets and fittings are hand crafted on site using high quality materials and sophisticated machinery and each van goes through a rigorous 56 point assesment once finished before it can leave the premises.
A bit from our MD
I put my heart and soul into starting SportTec many years ago and this shows in every sportshome conversion we create still to this day.
They say you are only as good as your last project which means I drive my team to be the best they can be on every build.
I want clients to leave here with a beaming smile etched onto their face, I want them to be happy with the money they have spent and I want them to shout from the rooftops about who built their fabulous Sportshome for them.
